Who is this guy? |
I was born on a farm in Northeastern Indiana in 1967. At the age of 18, I left the farm to attend Purdue's school of Aviation Technology where I received my Airframe and Powerplant license. I spent a few years apprenticing at the local Airport, then moved on to work for American Trans Air where I moved from Maintenance to systems automation and metrics. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio, where I work as an IT Consultant. This departure from my "blue collar" way of life left me with few connections to my farmboy roots, working with my hands. Woodturning provides me with a connection to my past as well as giving me a medium to express that history. I've learned from my father and we continue to learn and develop our woodturning skills together. I currently maintain a woodturning studio in the Short North Section of Columbus. |
